As a replacement bulb for all our lamps. Although most halogen bulbs will be banned from 1.9.2018, this G9 plug-in bulb is exempt from this ban.
Halogen bulbs have a filament that is made to glow by the flow of electricity. This creates a continuous luminous flux that produces a yellowish-orange light (similar to the evening sunset) = high quality of light!
G9 illuminant The EU regulation on the phase-out of incandescent lamps (ban on incandescent lamps) has provided for the exception of the particularly small G9 illuminant, as the clunky compact fluorescent lamps do not fit in various filigree luminaires. They may continue to be produced (even after 2018). Therefore, 230V halogen lamps can still be used in Danell luminaires (and in other luminaires with E14 or E27 sockets) with the help of adapters 41-7104 and 41-7126.
G9 bulbs: high quality of light with higher lumen values (lm) for more light and at the same time lower wattages (W) for lower power consumption. This results in effective lm/W values.
The G9 lamp:
- Economical: 30-50 % electricity savings compared to conventional incandescent lamps.
- Ecological: small size = less waste - Colour rendering: RA = 100%, for authentic colours that are easy on the eyes
- Colour temperature: 2700-2800 K, for warm white light - Harmless to health: - Mercury-free - No electronics - Flicker-free
- Protection: Integrated UV filter - Average life: 2,000 hours (2 years at approx. 2.7 hours/day)
- Suitable for everyday use: Can be disposed of in household waste
- Uncomplicated: Same bulb for E14 and E27 sockets
- Practical: Easy replacement by pulling and plugging. Do not forget: Pull out the mains plug! Insert bulb only with glove or cloth, do not touch with bare hands - Screw E14 or E27 adapter into lampholder (picture 1+2) - Insert G9 bulb with cloth or glove (picture 3) - Screw on shielding basket (only with earthed metal lampholder) (picture 4) - Done.
